1322 Foundation

Terms & Conditions

Effective October 14, 2026  ·  See also our Privacy Policy

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of drvstanley.com and any other website, page, or form operated by 1322 Foundation, Inc. ("1322 Foundation," "the Foundation," "we," "us," or "our") (together, the "Site"), and your request for or participation in the ministry services described on the Site. By using the Site or requesting a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Foundation

1322 Foundation is a Virginia nonstock corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes. It is a Christian ministry that affirms the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. The Pastoral Care & Leadership Formation ministry, led by Dr. Victor L. Stanley, is a program of the Foundation. The Foundation's work, communications, and services are carried out in accordance with its governing documents and its statement of faith.

2. Ministry Services

  • Requests. Pastoral care, leadership and executive coaching, marriage and pre-marital coaching, organizational assessments, speaking, and related services may be requested through the Site. Submitting a request does not create a ministry, coaching, or professional relationship. The Foundation may accept, decline, or refer any request at its discretion, consistent with its mission and capacity.
  • No fee. Ministry services described on the Site are offered without charge unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Any honorarium, travel reimbursement, or other arrangement for a speaking engagement or organizational engagement will be set out in writing in advance.
  • Engagement terms. Specific engagements may be subject to a separate written agreement, including confidentiality terms. Where a separate agreement applies, it governs that engagement and controls over these Terms if they conflict.
  • Biblical framework. Services are provided from a Christian, biblical perspective. By requesting a service, you acknowledge that counsel and coaching will reflect that perspective.

3. Not Professional, Medical, or Emergency Services

Pastoral care and coaching provided by the Foundation are spiritual and ministry services. They are not licensed medical, psychological, psychiatric, or professional counseling services, and they are not legal, financial, or tax advice. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for professional care. The Site is not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. If you are in emotional crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States.

4. Confidentiality

Conversations within an established pastoral-care or coaching relationship are held in confidence, subject to the limits described in our Privacy Policy, including where disclosure is required by law, where there is a reasonable belief that a person is at risk of serious harm, or where suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult must be reported. Messages sent through the Site's forms are not a secure channel for highly sensitive information.

5. Gifts and Donations

  • Gifts are made to 1322 Foundation, Inc. and are processed by a third-party donation processor subject to its own terms.
  • All gifts are made to the Foundation and become subject to the discretion and control of its Board of Directors. The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to honor a donor's stated designation or preference for a gift, but the Board retains final authority to direct gifts to the purposes it determines will best advance the Foundation's charitable mission.
  • Gifts are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, please contact us within 30 days and we will review the request.
  • The Foundation provides written acknowledgment of gifts as required by law. The Foundation does not provide tax advice; please consult your own tax adviser about the deductibility of any gift.
  • Recurring gifts may be changed or cancelled at any time through the donation processor or by contacting us.

6. Communications and Text Messages

By subscribing or opting in, you agree to receive the email or text communications you selected. Text-message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any ministry service. You may unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any message.

7. Intellectual Property

The teaching, writing, devotionals, sermons, videos, and other content on the Site, including the works of Dr. Victor L. Stanley, are owned by Danielle Lawrence Holdings Ltd. Liability Company and used by the Foundation under license, or are owned by the Foundation or its other licensors. The 1322 Foundation name and logo are marks of the Foundation. Content is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may view, download, and print content for your personal, non-commercial devotional, educational, or ministry use, and you may share links to the Site. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution to Dr. Victor L. Stanley and a link to the source. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, modify, create derivative works from, or distribute content for commercial purposes, or use it in a way that misrepresents its meaning or implies endorsement, without prior written permission. Permission requests may be sent to [email protected].

8. Your Submissions

When you send us a message, comment, testimony, or other material, you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to respond to you and to carry out our ministry. We will not publish your name, testimony, or personal story without your express permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

  • violate any law or the rights of others;
  • submit false information or impersonate any person;
  • send spam, malicious code, or automated requests, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
  • harass, threaten, or harm any person;
  • collect information about other users; or
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site.

We may suspend access or decline requests from anyone who violates these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site relies on and links to services operated by others, including our website and forms platform, our donation processor, video platforms, and booksellers. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies, and the Foundation is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

11. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for accuracy, the Foundation makes no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Teaching and other content reflect the author's understanding of Scripture and are offered for spiritual encouragement and education.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, its content, or ministry services offered without charge. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid the Foundation for the service at issue, if any, or one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including any protections available to charitable organizations and their volunteers under Virginia law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation and its directors, officers, staff, and volunteers from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Resolving Disagreements

The Foundation believes that disagreements should be resolved in a manner consistent with Scripture (Matthew 18:15–17; 1 Corinthians 6:1–8). If a dispute arises, the parties agree first to seek resolution through direct, good-faith conversation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, the parties agree to pursue mediation with a mutually agreed Christian mediator or conciliation service before filing any legal action, except where emergency relief is needed to prevent irreparable harm.

15. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 14, any legal action arising out of these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving the City of Richmond, Virginia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top shows when they were last revised. Changes apply from the date they are posted. Continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate written engagement agreement, are the entire agreement between you and the Foundation about the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; the Foundation may assign them to a successor charitable organization.
